The Booktok famous author of The Love Hypothesis has produced another book: Under One Roof. Does it live up to the hype of The Love Hypothesis?

Synopsis

Maras best friend and mentor passes away. She leaves a house for Mara to inherit. But there's something she didn't tell her: that half of her house belongs to her nephew, Liam. He seems welcoming at first but when Mara explains why she's here, he wants her gone. They start to despise each other. Will they be able to live together between their rivalry?

Thoughts

I unexpectedly flew through this book! So it goes without saying that this is a book that will make you forget you're reading. You get sucked up into their rivalry towards each other and become invested in how it will develop (wont disappoint)!

This book had me smiling hard, giggling and feeling everything between them! The tension and chemistry between them was BLINDING.

Liam's character was so good! Defo one of my fav male characters. H O T.

Some fav moments:

• when he got visibly jealous

• when he said her name so often!

• so respectful: made sure he had her permission before anything

• the way he looks at her (even when his girl friend was there)

• placed her in his lap and cuddles her when she was cold

• visibly happy for her when she achieved something

• showed her physical affection and would hold her hand in public

I didn't have a particular liking towards Mara just because she would so easily get pissed off about something small and react off on Liam. Especially because they were literally things that can so easily be talked about and solved. She gave me immature, childish vibes. But she started to be kind to him later on so that was good.
